OBJECTIVE
To create a hub that is dynamic to catch the engagement of Tafe students to enrol into the University of Canberra. There will be two areas that will be designed:

FASHION & INTERIORS
HISTORY OF DESIGN
In this exercise, we were required to focus on fashion design and how it intertwines with other industries, in this instance fashion design. Each student received a different style and was required to apply that interior design style into a form of a shoe, I decided I wanted to do both a masculine and feminine shoe to cover all elements of the style I was given; Rustic.

RUSTIC STYLE
Rustic has many different elements and undertones. It embraces connections with country and Scandinavian style. Upon my research and understanding it the style has strong elements of the following:
​
- Nature-inspired materials
- Earthly colours
- Use of different timbers and their application for example. Timber ceilings and wall décor.
- White and grey shades and tones
- Different fabrics such as wicca, rattan, cotton and linen.

INSPIRATIONAL IMAGES
WOMEN'S DRESS SHOE
I wanted to strongly emphasise the elements of materials and textures and layer them in the shoe design.

MEN'S CASUAL SHOE
I wanted the causal show to focus on a simplistic and laid back style that can be seen in modern rustic styles today.
